Inprint Literary Salon
featuring Mat Johnson

With a Pultizer Prize level contribution of $1,000 or more to the Inprint Annual Fund, you will be invited to attend an Inprint Literary Salon with acclaimed author Mat Johnson.

At a private home, over cocktails and appetizers, and among like-minded book enthusiasts, you will enjoy a salon style conversation about literature led by acclaimed author Mat Johnson. Unlike any other party you've been to before, this will be a stimulating and memorable literary evening which is sure to inspire you. And unlike a book club, no advanced reading is necessary! The literary salon will be held in late March 2012, on a week day evening, in a central location. Invitations will be sent via email and by mail before the scheduled date.

Mat, a faculty member at the University of Houston Creative Writing Program, is the author of the satiric novels Pym, Drop, and Hunting in Harlem; the nonfiction novella The Great Negro Plot; and the graphic novels Incognegro and Dark Rain. He is a recipient of the United States Artist James Baldwin Fellowship, The Hurston/Wright Legacy Award, a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers selection, and the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship.
